Ubuntuone is quite similar to Dropbox. It enables you to sync files to an online storage and to other computers you define. Ubuntuone features syncing of a Ubuntu and Kubuntu systems to and from the cloud. I work with a small EEE PC 1005 with Ubuntu and a larger laptop with Kubuntu. Ubuntuone is not installed by default. The Ubuntu filebrowser Nautilus has integration with Ubuntuone so you wil be able to control stuff from within nautilus. Things like sharing options. Dolphin the kubuntu file browser does not have that integration. At first I thought you can't use Ubuntuone then. Not true. Just search for "ubuntuone" in your package manager and install every item you find there. When starting Ubuntuone you will be asked for a password by the gnome keyring manager. Enter the same password as your user account and you will not be prompted for a password next time you boot. Work is being done at this moment concerning tighter integration of Ubuntuone for Kubuntu.

You can use up to 2 Gigs for free.
