"The Last Sucker" is a worthy goodbye from the guys that started out, 28 years ago, as the popband that produced songs like "You have got to work for Love" to the full industrial metal platinum "Jesus built my hotrod". The last albums are primarily dominated by anti-Bush propaganda. From what I understand they are focusing on
13th planet records and music publishing now. I hope they will do a final european tour. It is the one band I haven't seen yet live.
Just order the cd at your local record store. The cover art is worth it.
All seven TV spots for The Last Sucker have been posted on the
Ministry Youtube channel. These videos were recently seen on
MTV2's Headbangers Ball and
VH1 Classics' Metal Mania. The parody style mock-mercials feature some great Ministry humor set to music from The Last Sucker. The spots, featuring the voice of and an appearance by Ministry associate Sargent Major, were created by the band and the video team responsible for the excellent
End Of Days Countdown and
PSA video campaigns. "Ministry - Apply directly to forehead!"
